Photographs from our own jobs: period rooms, stairwells, kitchens, wallpapering and commercial interiors. No stock photography.

A multi-storey home with a decorative staircase and intricate cornice work, decorated from top to bottom while the family carried on living there. They came to us having looked at our work and our reviews, and we were on site for a first consultation inside a week.
Areas were sectioned off and dust sheets replaced daily rather than shaken out and put back down. When the old paper came off, the walls underneath were in worse condition than they looked and needed skim coating rather than lining. Spending the money in the right place is what made the finish.
Walls and ceilings took two coats of Farrow & Ball estate emulsion; woodwork and doors took two coats of acrylic water-based eggshell. The exposed wood was sanded back and finished in a Jacobean interior stain to bring out the natural tone rather than bury it.
Decorated over three weeks with the family still living in the house.
Plastering and decorating running together rather than one after the other.
Stripping the paper revealed walls past lining, so they were skim coated instead.
Estate emulsion on walls and ceilings, acrylic water-based eggshell on woodwork and doors.
